| The Pittsburgh Pastel Artists League was formed in 2002. A diverse group with members of differing levels of experience, hailing from southwestern Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, we are dedicated to promoting the medium of pastel and the artistic proficiency of its members through workshops, demonstrations, exhibits, group critiques, informative meetings, and group paint outs in the plein air tradition. We welcome those who have a passion for painting and would like to know more about the pastel medium.
