| Our artists' experience range from professional to beginner and everything in-between. Some of our artist's have been featured in art publications, did demo's, taught classes, and won prestigious awards. We feature artists' achievements below. |

The Pittsburgh Pastel Artists League is a new kind of group both
in longevity and guidelines.

 | We do not screen work for membership and so far have not | |
| had a screened or juried exhibit. | ||
| We experience a warmth and caring about each other in our | |
| group that is sometimes lost when competition exists. | ||
| We believe in supporting the medium of pastel and pastel | |
| painters. The public doesn't understand the purity and stability of pastels; we hope to educate them. | ||
| We share ideas and news about new materials via E-letters. | |
| E-letters are our main source of communication. | ||
| We schedule paintouts get-togethers where we paint have | |
| lunch, a short meeting, then paint again and have a critique. |
